Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking lot is not being plowed. Recent rains have turned the lot into a sheet of bumpy ice. I was able to get in and out with a small car, however. There are better parking opens to the east and the west, a few tenth of a mile from the trailhead.

Comments
Comments: Party of three, up & down via Route 112 to Osceola, East Osceola, and bushwhacking to Middle. Trail snow was hard and firm with some tricky icy spots on the steep sections occasional washouts. Two of us ascended in light traction, one in crampons. On the descent, all three used crampons. Could have gone down with just light traction--it was easier and safer with crampons. The Chimney was an ice climb and even the bypass had ice on it. We used the Chimney bypass on the ascent and the bypass-of-the-bypass on descent. The plan was to snowshoe to the west peak and Peggy's Perch, but the unbroken snow there was crap even with snowshoes and the herd path messy. We weren't feeling that ambitious. Turned around at the middle peak. Mt Osceola Trail is broken out to the south, likely all the way to Tripoli Road.
