Comments
Comments: Great day with the squad to finish our lovely friend’s grid. Light dusting of fresh snow down low. I wore spikes to just about treeline, then wore snowshoes over to Eisenhower and all the way back to the junction with Mizpah cutoff. Then barebooted back to the car. Most of our squad wore spikes door to door. They paid the price in a few spots. I’d still bring snowshoes if you are headed to Ike (that’s just me), but you can easily spike to Pierce.

Some running water on trail but not too bad. Also would have thought there’d be more carnage with trees down, was pleasantly surprised.

Weather report was on point today, the mid day lull hit as expected, winds dropped, and we had a beautiful day.
