LOST/TAKEN
One pair of K-10s wrapped in a black fabric, somewhat hidden under a tree, near trailhead. I decided not to carry my k-10s, they seemed like overkill given the trail conditions and I had a decent pair of Hillsounds with me. They were taken as trash or as a nice find!

The overall Trail is in good condition with a solid base, fast conditions for either snowshoes or spikes.
The last quarter mile to the rim trail was wind blown making it difficult to follow the trail, and the high winds forecasted for today also contributed to a couple of wrong turns. The rim trail to the cafe was not broken out, but the kinsman trail to the tower had seen activity. The ski slopes shut down early today for the high wind adversary. |
