 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Arrived around 8:45 AM and took the 2nd to last parking space. No fees and there were more spaces to park on the sides. It was cool to see the trailhead right by the parking lot, instead of walking along the road to get there. |

It was a beautiful day to grid out Moriah! I got the peak all to myself in the wonderful sunshine. I guess it paid off to start a bit late morning. I wore spikes the entire way out and back and carried the snowshoes. You could wear snowshoes in the last mile up to the peak if you wanted to take advantage of the televators, but I found the trail well packed out. There were six hikers out there today, including me. Only one used snowshoes in the higher elevations and spikes all the way down. Happy trails everyone! |
