Lost and Found
Lost and Found: I lost a ski binding somewhere between Osseo and Little Haystack. It's a Marker Duke PT 12. If you or anyone you know is hiking in the vicinity, please keep an eye out for it and let me know if you come across it! 774-230-8666. I was ducking a blowdown between Liberty and Haystack and half my gear fell on the ground in front of me. Uh oh, not good. Turns out it helps if you zip your pack shut while wearing it.

Comments
Comments: I broke trail on Osseo from 3300' to Mount Liberty. Deep unpacked powder. I stuffed my ski pole into the snow pack at one point and buried the thing 3+ feet. I broke trail again from the Liberty Springs Junction to Little Haystack. Ducking and maneuvering around bent over, snow covered pines. I passed several people heading from the Liberty Springs Junction over to Flume so that's likely pretty broken out, but I believe that I was the only one this weekend between Liberty Springs Junction and Little Haystack. That section took a piece of my soul. I only unclipped twice to reach Flume summit, which is something worth celebrating.
