Started out with spikes but quickly changed to snowshoes on Haystack Rd. By the looks of it no one had been on the trail since the previous weekend so there was about 6" of fresh powder to break through. First one up but passed seven others on the way down. As someone else mentioned the trail should be well packed down at this point until the next snowfall! Overall a challenging but beautiful day. |
