Comments
Comments: Beautiful "winter" hike. Felt like I was cheating and shouldn't count this as a winter hike. Microspikes up falling waters early in morning were perfect. Extremely warm day for March. Some pockets of ice and snow on ridge but barebooted with no issues. Saw no one until Lafayette, then maybe 60 or more people hiking. Was almost too hot on the way down from Lafayette, probably 60 degrees. Snow softened considerably by then and was pretty slippery with the microspikes but manageable. Avoided post holing all day by sticking tightly to the monorail.

An exceptional day, felt great to be above treeline
