Comments
Comments: Snowshoes car to car, leave the spikes at home. Bony anywhere there is open/running water, otherwise trail is good shape. Trench has formed but the snow is dry & powdery & not compacted In many spots. Wet in all the usual spots. 2 without shoes, many post-holes thru the whacks, fortunately snow is too dry to freeze. Snowing on top, no wind or views. Solo here, so peaceful. My 1st on trail moose sighting on the EHBW, big bull feeding. I made my way into the trees & past him, he was beautiful! One in front of me also so him but a lot closer. Race again to beat the night, made it. Snowshoes are an absolute must! Please wear them!
