Comments
Comments: Most beautiful season has arrived! Snow everywhere. I needed to get my legs back into snowshoe mode and figured this would be a nice way to ease back into using them. I started at the trailhead wearing them and kept them on the whole trek, you can use spikes but honestly , who likes carrying snowshoes?!! The snow on trail was pretty soft despite being tracked out. I realized even just trudging along, I was making good time passing a bunch of people who had youth on their side but they were bare booting or using spikes. I felt the snowshoes made my steps more efficient and the few people crossed paths with wearing them made the path so much nicer too! Basically, there’s snow therefore the shoes work best.
