 | Comments: |
The runway down low is soft and unconsolidated. More people barebooting with spikes today than snowshoeing which led to the trail being churned up. Went up North and down south. Ridge walk is more like a fun winter adventure with drifts, and post holes everywhere. Did my best with snowshoes to bust it out and fill in the post holes but prepare for a fun 1.4 miles until the next storm. Not sure how many people went across it after me but hopefully they wore snowshoes or it will a post hole delight. Steep sections are exactly what you’d expect - snow covered and a fun challenge. |
