Comments
Comments: A brisk 8 degree start at noon today for this 5 mile clockwise loop. Winds were light to none at most in these beautiful and protected woods. Started in bare-boots and followed a single fresh bare-boot track for about a half mile until it turned south into the woods. The boot track returned at the intersection of Four Soldiers Path and I followed the track from that intersection on Four Soldiers until it crossed Jimtown again where I switched to snowshoes at about 2120’. They stayed on the rest of the loop and a decent track, along with some ski tracks has been set.

Some skiing in the Glades as far up as Mt. Randolph - North Peak was evident, along with plenty of wildlife tracks throughout the entire hike. A beautiful day for this loop.
