Comments
Comments: There were tracks going left at the first water crossing on Sabbaday that never came back so do not follow. Lot of rotting snow bridges as you work your way up the brook. Do not trust. Micro spiked 2/3 up the trail switched to snow shoes when I started post holing. There were some post holes all the way up but snow on side is rotten.
The slide is covered and going up is easy with televators currently.

Dropped pack at junction and went over and back to North. Headed over to South met two fellows who had camped out on South for the weekend and seemed thrilled with the sun on south slide.
The trail was packed out to the slide and the snow had melted off the slide area. I had to put snowshoes back on to get to the next slide and took them off again once there.

The tracks stopped there. No one had been across Sleepers for a long time. I worked my way across watching the flow of the trail and markers. It is not pretty but there is now at least a single track across it.

I was real happy to hit Rollins trail for about 30 seconds. The post holes were the worst I have seen anywhere to date. There are some small sections of ice on the downhill side of white face.

There is a 75-100 section of glare ice about 1/2 mile in from the dicey mill/rollins junction. Met Pete who is conquering his aversion to heights on the way up Passaconaway. We agreed it was an exceptional day.

The backside of Passaconaway has some ice patches but you could avoid or jump over most.
There was soft snow coming down Square Ledge but overall consider the limited amount of people who have been on it it was not bad.

Oliverian as usual was long but uneventful.
I had to walk back to the car, I had no luck hitching today.
