Parked a half mile south of the trailhead on Rt. 302 at Sawyer’s Rock parking lot. Not plowed but the snow was manageable for a SUV. Later hikers parked along the road right at the trailhead. |

Water levels were low. Easy to step across on rocks |

Well maintained. Clearly marked yellow blazes. |

The snow was packed down by 2 or more snow shoers who probably hiked the day before. No problem for Hillsound trail crampons. A bit slippery on the steeper sections near the top. |
