Comments
Comments: My wife and I broke out the trail today to the actual summit. Under the hemlock trees there were 4-5 inches of snow but in the hardwoods it was 9-10. Where drifting occurred there was even more. Still bony in spots but we did our best to avoid as many rocks as possible. Trail conditions with only two going up and down in snowshoes is very unconsolidated! Spikes will just slide as there is not enough firm snow to bite. Snowshoes are needed at this time. Lots of sign of coyotes and deer and little woodland critters.
