Comments
Comments: It snowed throughout the day, but when I started around 11am there was minimal snow. I hiked in bare boots on the road and for the first mile or so up the trail. The snow was accumulating and getting deeper higher on the mountain, so I switched to snowshoes for the last 3 miles or so to the summit. Wore them most of the way down, then switched to spikes. There is about a foot of unpacked snow on the upper half of the trail, and it kept on snowing after I left, so I imagine snowshoes will be needed in the near future.
