 | Comments: |
Bare booted halfway to Mt Surprise then rock microspikes to Mt Surprise then sharp microspikes for remainder of the hike. Ledges had snow over ice requiring sharp spikes and hugging the side of the ledges. Big wind and cold at summit. Careful foot placement on the way down - poles were a big help. Trail could use a good dump of snow. |
