Comments
Comments: Cold and breezy from the start but the wind wasn’t too much to handle high above. Significant ice about .3 from the first junction and spikes went on. No new snow noted but some fluff here and there up on Carter-Moriah. I’ve hiding beneath so watch your steps. All trails were in great shape with Carter-Dome Trail having some water, ice, and snow patches. Not fun in the dark. No significant drifts. Any blowdowns were taken care of. Bumped into one solo hiker and three other small groups.
Not sure of the snow expected tomorrow but today was great conditions!
