 | Comments: |
Mix of snow and ice throughout, and few wet stretches. Some post holes from prior days, but snow frozen solid to step around them. Hidden ice under thin snow spots surprises now and then. Ice crust on rocks near the falls seemed bit unstable beneath the microspikes and required extra caution. Animal tracks on the hike down at night (fascinating!) but no sightings. |
