We wore snowshoes car to car. Sawyer River road lost alot of snow during the day. Many bare patches on the way out. Once we reached the Summer trailhead there is still alot of snow. It was very soft in the open hardwoods or where ever the sun could reach the ground. Signal Ridge was very soft and choppy. There were alot of people without snowshoes but the butt sliders and our snowshoes smoothed the trail out. Great weather and great company. Thanks to Larisa and Toby. |
