 | Comments: |
Excellent day with Winter J on generally good to excellent conditions. A few ice bulges coming off the ridge, and an expected mix of ice and bare ground on the bottom half of 19MB. The sun did not appear as forecasted...oh well, cloudy and the jet stream is pushing south, so a double hit for the naturally occurring ability to synthesize Vitamin D. Snowshoes went for a ride, and strangely, we were questioned about our motivation to carry them (dude...I don't care what the trail report earlier this week said) My apologies to Wildcat E for not making a visit. Grab these peaks from this route while you can, without scurrying up under the cover of darkness as the ski trails open soon. |
