Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: room for around 6-10 cars at eastern trailhead parking (at Woodhill Hooksett Rd) - short dirt road to get there - I didn't really need 4WD. At first I drove to the other section of Woodhill Hooksett Rd there was no official parking lot at the western end of the road.

Comments
Comments: Terrific 1.5 hour trail run - really liked the points of interest such as Buffalo Rock, Duckbill Ledge, and the Cave. Didn't notice any black gum trees despite the trail name - maybe there weren't any? The glacial erratic was pretty neat - I think there was only 1. Lots of ups and downs on these trails so trail running had its challenges - very few parts of the trails where you could just run to your heart's content because the roots were were usually trying to trip me. I think I was only able to do 3 miles in my time there because I did spend a fair time checking out things and figuring out where I was tho the trail signs were super duper. Nice mossy woods. Very foggy so no view from outlook.
