Comments
Comments: Barebooted part way up Boott Spur, spikes went on when we started hitting some flow ice. Snowshoes went on above treeline. Still fairly drifty up there. Snowshoes stayed on up Washington, over to Isolation and down the isolation and engine hill bushwhacks. We switched to barebooting after that. The bushwhacks are fairly well packed out, though there are a number of random heard paths leading off to lands unknown. Engine hill bushwack is thin to no snow at points, some muddy marshy bits to hop through. Lower down on rocky branch there are lots of patches of standing water, rocks, mud, and leaves.
