Comments
Comments: No change in conditions from the last report. Wet and somewhat icey at the start. First part relatively flat. When you reach the start of the ascent of Carrigain, several inches of snow which was bare bootable until the halfway point which I had to switch to spikes due to increasing powdery snow and some steep terrain. Increasing snow depth towards the top which has somewhat been packed down. Passed a person in snowshoes on their to down who was helping to pack the trail down a bit better (thank you). Snowshoes would have been helpful for the last mile or so to the summit but doable in spikes. No problems for ascending the fire tower.
