Comments
Comments: Very nice, sunny, nearly windless day for a quick walk in the woods. I think that some of the light snow near the top mentioned in the reports by Skidder and Rocket21, both for two days ago, must have melted. The Red Hill trail was essentially bare to the top, with just patches to the sides in the shade. Only the top of the well-shaded parts of the Cabin trail had much of anything white, and most of that was avoidable. As the others noted, the leaves were a bigger issue, and since we were in no hurry, that wasn't a big deal either.
