Comments
Comments: Wore snowshoes roundtrip. Snow is pretty soft and postholes are popping up, as the bareboot-created footbed underneath meandered. Two places on the lower trail (just past the first crossing) are close to being bare, however the rest of the lower trail still has 4-8" of snowpack. The rest of the trail has 1 to 5 feet of snowpack, with the exception of the Sosman summit loop, where the exposed portion is starting to melt down to rock. There are a few minor blue ice patches emerging from the snowpack as well.
