Comments
Comments: Saturday AM hike of the Kinsmans. Snow cover started right from the parking lot, decent cover the whole way, maybe a few bony sections just above the hut @ the minor stream crossings and runoffs where the water was flowing.
South Kinsman had the most snow: I sunk in up to my knees in a few drifted spots.

Bare boot to the hut, spikes the rest of the way. They were handy on some of the steeper scrambles: they were slick with ice! Not many people out but I saw a few on my way out. No views as both summits were socked in.
