 | Comments: |
There was a fresh layer of snow from the day before. The snow was not deep enough for snowshoes yet. There were still exposed rocks and roots. Even on the ridge microspikes worked fine. There was not much drifting. We used microspikes for the summit loop only. The flatter approach on hancock notch and cedar brook had a few inches of snow mixed with wet muddy sections. |
