Finished up my fall maintenance this morning on Piper Mountain Trail. Cleaned the last 7 waterbars and brushed in some trail braiding. |

Several cars at the main parking area so I opted to park at the over flow lot just up the road. From there, I bushwhacked over to the Piper Mountain Trail. Trails were generally damp with some minor mud. Some ice beginning to form on the ledges. No need for traction yet but it won't take long. The ground is beginning to freeze, as well, at elevation. Cloudy skies with a breeze and temps in the high 30s. |
