Minimal depth snow with slop, leaves and water, until about half way across Engine Hill. Then snow progressively got deeper. Some points on ISO Express were knee deep. Could have used snow shoes but we made a game time decision to not bring them. Had spikes with us but the conditions never really warranted it. Broke trail [postholed?] up ISO Express. It’s not pretty but you can follow it if you choose. |
