Rare day for a non high peak due to the weather and time.. trail is a bit wet down low and up higher through the low spots. Not much snow or ice up higher but I put rock spikes on for the last maybe .25 miles to the summit as there were a few sneaky icy spots. Kept them on a little farther on the descent. More crunchy ice than real snow accumulation. It was gently snowing throughout the hike. No views but the sun was trying to come through the clouds and snowstorms, which was a sight in itself. |
