Comments
Comments: There was a dusting of snow on trail when I started at ~9:45am, but still plenty of exposed rock, and lots of running water and mud. Snow was actively falling during the my entire hike, looks like around ~2 inches fell at the trailhead between 10am and 2pm, judging by the buildup on my car when I got back. Probably a bit more at higher elevations. Bare booted up to the hut, put spikes on for the climb up and down the Frost Trail, then left them on for part of the descent, until I got sick of knocking off the balled up snow/ice and eventually went back to bare boots. Snowfall had filled in my tracks and started to cover up some of the exposed rock by the time I was heading down, but I never encountered more than a couple of inches of snow depth. No need for snowshoes yet, though that my change with more snow in the forecast.

Beautiful and peaceful day out there. Saw zero other humans the entire hike.
