Spitting snow at the start was not really factor until about the Imp/North Carter Split. Carter-Moriah was a frozen walkway all the slop from yesterday froze solid overnight. Snow became more of a factor over Carter Dome at the most 2 inches. Snow got wetter as the day went on and started to ball on the Dome. Met the first person of the day coming down and after that a couple of nice young ladies and more people going to the hut. Still no need for snowshoes but some slick spots. Got a ride from the ski area from a couple of crazy Canadian kids who had been skiing tucks all day and who ski at my home mountain of Jay Peak. |
