Comments
Comments: Lovely day of Belknapping. Good view of white capped Mt.Washington over the big lake from fire tower and walking down the work road from Gunstock, we jumped back on the Ridge Trail at the saddle between Gunstock and Rowe. On Belknap we went out and back on herd path steeply down to the the plane crash site. Met a class of school kids on way to Whiteface. Met a couple people on Piper, a couple on Belknap and a dozen or so on way from Gunstock to Rowe-ski area parking lot. We found a little black ice early on but everywhere was remarkably dry. Winter is coming, glad to enjoy one more fall weather day.
