Comments
Comments: I planned to get to Blue Mountain, then bushwack down to the Kanc along ridge west of the Stream Mill Brook. Minor ice around 2,800', on the second switchback of CFT. Traction was not needed today but that could change very soon. The woods are holding onto to late autumn colors, especially the oaks. After the Sisters, I headed down toward the point closest to Blue Mountain, but time was tight and the little voice advised against going for the summit, so I hit the woods there and explored the Steam Mill Brook area for a beautiful descent.
