Comments
Comments: Up falling waters down old bridal path. Trail starts and ends without ice, just wet leaves and manageable. Higher elevations ice conditions start. We put spikes on before shining rock spur. Mix of bare rock, ice, and snow on ridge. Only spikes required. No snowshoes needed until there is more snowfall. Coming down old bridal in afternoon, lots of water, snow/ ice melt and mud. Used spikes until we hit the agonies (3 steep sections). one of us took spikes off and the other kept them on until after the steep rock. The rocks were mostly bare with patches of ice.
