I cleared five blowdowns on the bypass and three on North Mtn. Trail. A large trunk remains up on the North Mtn. ridge that will need a chainsaw. It's been trimmed and has a herd path around it for now. |

Carried out a booze can and an orange shirt. |

A nice fall day in the park with weather a bit all over the place. Cloudy, sunny, dark enough to make me think a storm was approaching, then sunny again.
Trails started out damp but were drying out quickly. The backside of North Mtn. Trail doesn't get much sun this time of year, so wet ledge and slippery leaves called for a bit of caution on the steeps.
Several other were hikers out along the trails, and climbers were at the boulder area. There are still some areas of muted foliage color but most leaves are on the ground now. |
