Comments
Comments: Wet Sloppy mashed potatoes for most of the day. Wore spikes upon going above tree line to lazy to take them off but ice minimal. Snow consolidated during the night and there were some drifts along Franconia Ridge but pretty easy going. People had come from Liberty and one fellow was in front of me so there were tracks and the water/holes were outlined. There was a large group of children that came through right before going up to Liberty so trail got tamped down a little more. Met up with David Senecal on Liberty and took things down a notch or two and we did the out and back to Flume and then headed down. Nice to see lots of people out including Rick Simmons and Cathy Pierce.
