Comments
Comments: Did the road walk and cut over to Garfield Trail in the dark. More or less dry trail. Snow starts about 2500 feet. Ice and snow in the trail about 3000. Put on spikes to go up Garfield and down the waterfall. Took them off shortly after due to balling and never looked back. More snow on Twins a couple inches and another cm fell while up there but nothing to drastic quite yet. Twinway needs brushing bad. Good news is the mud is frozen now. Met a gentlemen doing a multiday pemi on South Twin only human encounter of the day. Things got much warmer as I dropped back in the valley. One fellow had been up and back to Galehead while I was on the twins. Another had been up to the twins a day or two prior to today.
