We did a counterclockwise hike from Livermore Trail up South Slide to South Tripyramid, over Middle Tripyramid, over North Tripyramid and down Pine Brook Bend and out on Sauer Ridge Trail. The lower elevation trails were good - 2 minor stream crossings. Snow on South Slide required microspikes and careful foot and hand work. The trail from South to North was good. Pine Brook required careful footwork - snow and soft ice - poles helped. |
