Comments
Comments: Lovely day up there. Spikes went on around 3500ft heading up Pierce. Lots of ice flows, some with with running water underneat. Watch your step, not too hard to break through and soak a foot. Spikes stayed on till the descent, Jewell had minimal ice, just snow to mud. Snow wasn't deep enough anywhere yet for snowshoes (still very rocky under the snow) but give it another storm and they'll be good to start carrying.
