Well what a killer day out there! Barely any wind today compared to Ike’s hike yesterday. We were in our base layer from about 10 minutes in, until the top. We saw 18 people (3from grey knob) and 1 dog. We barebooted to the summit and spiked down until the pot holes. Less snow up there than expected. Snow was on the ground when we started and maybe got to an inch or two for coating everything (wind must have knocked a lot off). We got undercast which George and Adams were out in. Pretty epic day for November. |
