Comments
Comments: Though cloudy, windy and cool, it was a great day out on the trails. Not too long after the ladders the going became slower due to more frequent sections of ice/snow coated rocks, roots and slabs so we opted for spikes which was a good choice. Ended up wearing them the rest of the way to the summit until about 3/4 of the way back down. Had to bandage Al's head after he inadvertently reamed his head on a sharp nub on a blow down on the way up. Thankfully, no stitches required. Threw several branches of various sizes off the trail and on our way down noticed someone had sawn and removed a sizable birch and several branches from a large spruce which had likely come down in the wind over the past 24 hours. Much appreciated by many I'm sure!
