Dirt road up. Can either take the ledges trail up or road to the turn off. We too the road up and took the gorgeous Chapel Rock detour where the BEST views were. OMG. Absolutely stunning. We dumbly took ledges trail down as we didnt' want to backtrack and that was a bad decision. The views were really pretty too though. Between the sun starting to set, the fall colors putting on a show, and the clouds with rain/sleet/snow made for some spectacular views. 4 miles up and back took about 4 hours. |
