Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Sabbaday Brook trail had 3 tough crossings if keeping your feet dry is important.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Pine Bend Brook trail is in good shape. Sabbaday had two new blow-downs: one at El. 2700 and the other at 2100. Both were passable.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Going up Pine Bend on the sections after Scaur Trail were a bit challenging for my mountain doodle because there was enough icy rocks to make things interesting. But she did fine. She didn't like the 3 water crossings though on Sabbaday.

Comments
Comments: Was going to go up and back on Pine Bend Brook but changed my mind after dealing with icy rocks..I had traction but those weren't needed going up. I decided to go down Sabbaday and do the 1 mile road walk, but in hind-sight it would have been easier to just put on the traction and head back down Pine Bend. Those crossings on Sabbaday were not simple.
