Trail Maintenance Notes: No major issues here, only thing to note is more consistent blaze colouring would be helpful. The Precipice Path is supposed to be blazed in purple, but several times we noticed there were blue blazes, which confused a few of my group members.

Comments
Comments: Nice fall day in the Belknap region. Fall colours are now passed peak, but still nice enough. Leaf litter on some of the trails is making them blend into the woods a little bit, so make sure to keep an eye on the blazes. There were a couple small patches of mud or water on the trails, but nothing too significant. Although slightly higher than Mt. Major, Straightback views are not quite as spectacular, though it does give nice southerly views which are blocked on Mt. Major. While it's not the Whites, it is starting to get cooler in the rougher terrain. I had gloves on most of the day, and I wore two light jackets for the entire descent. Spotted a porcupine climbing a tree on Precipice Path!
