Trails were fairly damp this morning. A couple of areas that have pooled water in wetter seasons had pooled water today (seems like the drought has subsided around here), but there are now step stones in place to get through with ease. Up on the ridge, there was a coat of black ice on roots. Nowhere near enough to justify light traction, but enough to heed caution.
Leaves are mostly down, with just a few trees hanging onto them down low.
Ski trails are largely mowed. Significant construction still underway along the lower half of the main chairlift line, so best to avoid that if using the slopes.
Mostly cloudy morning with temperatures in the 30s to 40s. |
