Comments
Comments: No need for spikes just yet but definitely snow in the trees and on the non-trail surfaces above 3,500’. Tower has rime ice and snow on the steps and viewing deck. If conditions persist a thin sheet of ice will form soon. Kinsman Ridge Trail was fun, we ascended, saw many descending today! That was surprising. Hi-Cannon was super easy to go down on, saw a hiker comment on how bad it was eroded from a prior post - I saw no signs of this - other than a few blowdowns it was easy to navigate and hike and the switchbacks are all in good condition.
