Terrific quick afternoon hike after a full morning paddling in the Goffstown dam draw-down. I never heard of this place until one of the sweet ladies at church mentioned it. I was super surprised how nice and quiet this area is. I was thinking it would be 1 mile each way but it was more like 1.7 miles each way, and most of it could be run easily. At the beginning are some beautiful fieldstone abutments/footings for a woods road bridge over the gorgeous brook. The brook the path follows is super beautiful. |
