Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I drove past the traditional launch points to the north of the peak, and nothing looked inspiring so I opted for the western approach. Drove up the very steep Potato Hill Rd aka Tetu Rd to the junction with an ATV trail west of the peak. Note partway up this road there's signage indicating that ATVs cannot go further (presumably due to the logging operation ahead) - I found the signage ambiguous at best as to whether cars were allowed to proceed.

Comments
Comments: There's a fairly new (not on sat imagery yet) but substantial logging operation on the SW side of the peak. This is not to be confused with the old clearcut on the NW side of the peak. Logging activity was fresh enough that the roads had zero vegetation, but the stumps looks fairly weathered - maybe a year or two old? Anyways, followed the logging cut/road up until it ended, then whacked in open woods. Crossed a good looking woods road heading N/S - curious where this one led, particularly to the north. Some denser stuff on the summit with some PUDs, but these can be skirted to the south.

50 minute round trip at the end of another long day/trip up north.
