A FINE day in Henry's Woods for a walk. Superb weather, be bold start cold in the morning to tank tops by noon. We surprisingly had all three Bonds to ourselves. Trails in great shape end to end. Still very interesting to me to see radiating fractures on rocks (we call these butt pucker rocks because there's a hole where dynamite was and they blasted the rock.) 8.5 miles in! Speaking of bums, Chris and I where able to (independently) check off Bondcliff and Bond on our "Defecate on the 48" list. An invigorating and refreshing take on the 48... Some MINOR patches of snow, enough to make the ground white, but all will be gone soon. No need for traction, yet. The ten day suggests that time is rapidly coming. |
